Greetings:
I guess we're the granola eaters here in Seward that the Strib editorial
page editors are so worried about. And, now R.T. has gone and appointed
one of our chief granola eaters, David Fey, Executive Director of Seward
Redesign to a key post in the housing transition team.

With all this happening right under your noses in Minneapolis, it is
probably time to find out what you can about our little corner of the
City. Well, here's your chance!

Minneapolis' Seward Neighborhood Art Crawl bigger in 2001

Run, dont walk, to the Seward Art Crawl!

Mark your calendars!
This year's Seward Art Crawl is Sunday, November 18 from
11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Its looking to be even more exciting this year than last, with more
then 30 Seward artists and arts organizations, showing, selling and
performing their work! Come see whats being created: from paintings and
collage, to handmade books and fiber art, to ceramics, video, mosaics,
sculpture, furniture and much more. Performances by dancers,
storytellers, musicians and poets will be through out Seward as well.

(List member, Erik Riese will show ceramics, prints, and photographs.
His wife, Mary will display hand dyed silk scarves. You can start at our
home at 2509 29th Av S. We'll have maps of the other participants.)

To learn more about the Seward Art Crawl, maps and additional
information are available at:
Northern Clay Center, 2424 East Franklin
Second Moon Coffehouse, 2225 East Franklin

This event is sponsored by the Seward Community Arts Network (SCAN) to
help promote the arts in the Seward neighborhood, the Twin Cities and
the world at large.

Come celebrate the arts, support local artisans, and have fun in Seward
- where the granola is still roasted in gas fired ovens.
