I know it's still there in an expanded version, but does anyone besides me remember the Mudpie Restaurant on Lyndale Avenue back when it first opened in the mid-70's? The first time I ate there, I sat at the counter and was served a bowl of split pea soup by a waiter who was terrifyingly thin.
