New Central Library Design Kickoff Week November 26 to December 2 is "New Central Library Design Kickoff Week" in Minneapolis. As the design team from Cesar Pelli & Associates / Architectural Alliance begins work on Master Planning and Pre-Design, the public is invited to share ideas and information to help make the Library Project the best it can be. Eleven meetings with design team representatives will be held at libraries throughout the city during Design Kickoff Week. The meetings are sponsored by the Minneapolis Public Library Board and the City of Minneapolis to provide information about the Project and to give everyone the opportunity to help shape the new, downtown Grand Central Library.
