"A federal jury on Monday found no police brutality in the shooting of a 15-year-old Minneapolis boy four years ago and awarded no damages in his claims against two police officers and the city. Lawrence Miles Jr., now 20, lost some use of his arm and part of a lung from the middle-of-the-night shooting in 1997 outside a Minneapolis apartment building. " [...] "Shortly after the incident, Miles was charged with threatening officers, but the charge was dropped when he completed a gun education class." So, in other words, Miles was *not* charged and found guilty of threatening the police, yet.... the court finds him *guilty of threatening the police*! (the only way they can conclude that the police responded "appropriately") I guess it's ok for some thugs to roam and cruise the streets in gangs, as long as they're not a) young; b) poor; c) "minority". If you are all of the above, god help save you from the MPD. (But, shhh! If you can aquire a gun with taxpayers' money, well then! You're in business! Fire away!) *shakes head* L.
