How about collecting some of the $178 million worth of developer "loans"
that are owed to the MCDA?

Keith wonders about the "collections" policy of our finance arm of city
government, the MCDA. I know if a water bill to the city is in arrears, the
city may turn off the spigot to your homestead until you pay, in full. How
has this same current administration, and Steve Cramer-head of MCDA, dealt
with the grand feline (fat cat) debtors DT? I would also like to see a thread
continuing the query posed by VH, "Instead of a six million levy against the
taxpayers....." I hope others will add their ideas on averting this
additional property tax levy. A proposed tax levy I call the "Steve Cramer
line-item" to each of our property tax statements.
