I take it Pam means Mpls not Maples, Minnesota. Bob Fine was elected President Marie Hauser elected Vice-President Annie Young elected to Mpls. Planning Commission All the committees, commissions, appointments are too numerous to mention. Three highlights of the event were: The oath being given by Judge Olesky, Remarks and brief attendance by new Mayor Rybak and A Recollection of the last century - a History presentation that told a lot about former Commissioners, park acquisitions, Superintendent's and was a New Year's toast to the new Board of the 21st century and new millennium (prepared and presented by Senior Board member Annie Young with help from Brian Rice and former Supt. Al Whittman) It was a wonderful night and I believe will show some new unanimity and striving to work better together from this new Board. We welcome the 3 new Commissioners - they each bring some special talents to the Board. Thanks for asking,
