I would like to respond to Brian Melendez' post and argue that this is the reason Mayor Rybak was elected in the first place, and even if Colvin Roy lied, whats important is not the first vote this group will make, but how they continue to work together for the next four years,,, and the kind of groundwork laid for the future of the City. I think there has been a lot of bickering about this issue, and frankly I am not sure I understand it. Lets give our new council some support, after all...we elected them for a reason. I really look forward to seeing this group in action. If Brian is right about his predictions for council, we may just see that Scott brand tissue in the City Hall johns change to...say...a greener flavor...like "green forest" or something that better reflects the makeup (and shakeup) of the new city hall.
