       I thought he was disgusting when I saw him sleeping through most of
a Board meeting this fall, but that wasn't a patch on how I felt after reading
this. If he thinks the problems are so insoluble, why is he supporting the
MPS at all? Also, it was half-bright of him to note that the NAACP is no longer dogging the board about desegregation -- surely he's aware that Leola Seals
and a number of others who had supported the suit were run out of the NAACP
after the settlement? It got extensive coverage in City Pages, if nowhere else.
