Each year at MCBA since 1988 artists, designers, papermakers and bookbinders have produced a hand-made limited edition book evolving from new work by a Minnesota author. This afternoon program will include a reading of Ice Walk, a printing press demonstration conducted by MCBA artistic director Mary Jo Pauly, and a discussion regarding the collaboration process of this exciting and creative project.
Ordinary People, Guest's first novel, won the Janet Heidegger Kafka Prize and was made into a movie that won six academy awards, including best picture. Her other novels include: Second Heaven, Killing Time in St. Cloud, and Errands.
