Gregory Luce North Phillips (work) John Cevette responds: Those with interest in this controversy should read the full article. Joint undertakings with Plymouth Church are highly controversial. Based on misrepresentations of neighborhood views the Whittier Alliance Board voted to screen Plymouth's access to the Whittier Alliance. In a letter to the Senior Pastor of Plymouth the Whittier Alliance Board Chair asked the church to recant misinformation sent to its members. As far as I know there is no response from the church. While cooperation trumps confrontation, it will take more than a community dinner to rebuild trust in the church leadership.
