City panel signs off on Rybak staff proposals
http://www.startribune.com/stories/462/1136542.html

I as well as number of people within the African American community have been
concerned about more people of color given an opportunity to work for the new mayor of
Minneapolis and other positions in city government. I do support city council member
Natalie Johnson-Lee's concern about this issue.

As the year 2000 census data indicates, more and more people of color are living in
the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro Area. But, barriers like lack of planning for a
diversity workforce and racism in hiring, promotion and termination must be overcome!
