I agree wholeheartedly with Mr. Lohman. Not to drudge up an old topic, but during the debate surrounding the expanded Super America at 40th and Lyndale it became quite apparent that the Lyndale-Farmstead Neighborhood Association had become the "100 feet within Super America Neighborhood Association."
Those closest to a proposed project need to have a voice, but it should not be the predominate voice. Decisions should be made on how they impact the entire neighborhood, with ultimately the final decision resting upon the elected officials. Dean E. Carlson East Harriet, Ward 10 Paul Lohman writes: > I agree that it is vitally important in a situation like Ace Hardware for > nearby >neighbors to be thoroughly informed.
