The DFL Machine has a large wad of Council Members/Currency in it's pinstripe pocket. Win a few, lose a few, the DFL machine still rules ober alles. The other council members, whom I shall identify as the independents, have just pocket change of political currency to wager, and could be out of office before the dice get warm. If you were elected for a term, serve that term.
