At the risk of offending the List Manager, I want to say I regret that the Southwest Journal is no longer available in Downtown newspaper boxes like it used to be.
I recognize that this is because Downtown now has its own Skyway News, published I understand by the same company, and that that publication has become much more relevent to Downtown residents like myself. And I congratulate the editor for that. But I have gotten the impression that SW Journal is carrying some interesting, city-relevent information that the Downtown paper is not reprinting. I can understand why--commuting workers might not be interested in 7th, 10th and 13th ward issues. But as a City resident and political junkie I am. I should check to see if the SW Journal is being delivered to the newspaper bins at the Downtown Library. If so I get my wish, and "never mind"--but if not I'll have to grab one whenever I go to Uptown or points south.
