Annie has shared some of her frustrations with the current Park Board, and they seem to be based on the fact that she is not on the majority. She ended one post with the comment that "What I want you to know is that the monority 4 have their hands tied for getting any substantive work done no matter how hard we try."
The clear implication of her posts is that the majority on the Park Board makes it impossible to accomplish anything. Now this list is supposed to be about important Minneapolis issues, like crow death dances, burgers that squirt juice on companions and skyways to nowhere. If there is important and sustantive work that is not getting done at the Park Board I believe that rates right up there with squirting burgers and we should be made aware of them. But Annie has left us hanging a bit. The question goes out to her, or any of her minoriy compatriots, what are the important and substantive issues that you feel are being ignored? If your goal is to accomplish something, spell out the issues and see if we can do something with them. If the paper can mimic our ramblings on crows, I bet they might consider some juicy issues from the Park Board. Bob Gustafson MMM __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
