>From a tenant-oriented discussion list I learned of a pro bono survey being conducted for the City of Minneapolis by McKinsey & Co. with reference to R.T.'s and the Council's current intention to rationalize MCDA, NRP and Planning Department functions. The survey questionnaire can be accessed via www.ci.minneapolis.mn.us and results will be available post April 15.
Responses are certainly well worth the effort: mpls-issues list members have a real opportunity to help shape this difficult dialogue often "from the convenience of their own homes". I certainly hope McKinsey & Co. and our elected officials will seek out those who aren't presently advantaged with online assets because the class cleavages in our municipal life are all too apparent.
