I like this idea. I currently compost almost all of our yard and garden
waste. Except for tree branches and the polluted leaves I rake up from the
boulevard, it all goes into our compost piles.

Between recycling and composting, my wife and I have significantly reduced
the amount of garbage we put out every week. Most weeks, the garbage can
is only half full (or is half empty).

Also, if I am not mistaken, several of my neighbors compost a fair amount
of yard and garden waste by using the compost piles in the community
garden across the alley from me.
