One of my reactions was to note a significant difference between the Pioneer Press and the Star Tribune articles on this survey.
The survey showed a major difference in attitudes toward police treatment of the public between minority and non-minority respondents. Among non-minority respondents, 20% were unhappy. For minority respondents, twice that, 40% were unhappy with police treatment. The Mpls Star-Tribune highlighted this, even including a quote from the Mayor about it. The St. Paul Pioneer Press didn't even think it worth of a mention in the article. Tim Bonham, Ward 12 >reaction? >J.
