Kristine Harley's post below is the first I'd heard of any rumored run for the Senate by the "post-child" for the revolving door, Rebecca Yanish. (Who probably is a very nice person. Though I bet ROAR wasn't crazy about her Deputy Commish pick.)
(BTW, check the website gx: http://www.dted.state.mn.us/ ) If it comes to pass I want to be the first to say: "Thanks alot, Jesse." Now I am waiting to hear what plans Ted Mondale, Tom Foley, John Wodele, Charlie Weaver and Tim Penny have. Christine Jax and Pam Wheelock, too. Besides the memoirs. (N.B., I have NO inside information.) In my last post, I made reference to Rebecca Yanish's run for Senate. I was referring to the last election, not the upcoming one. (It appeared in the Pioneer Press but not the STrib.) I have not heard anything about any present campaign by her against Wellstone from the Star Trib or any other source. However, since my post I HAVE heard some interesting theories about a possible run by Yanish. They seem to be mere rumors at this point, however. Does anyone know for sure?
