I believe that the meaning of the term "activist" is being transmogrified
away from it's customary meaning in the same way that the term "liberal"
was changed starting about 10 years ago.  I think that the people who are
posting about this issue are right to identify public relations
techniques
of corporate entities as the source.  The media just follows the fashion.
