In the past, the investigations have lasted a long time--I think the
investigation of Barbara Schneider's death took more than nine months. The
sheriff's department then issues a report. The Strib and other mainstream
media have generally done articles on the reports. I think you could probably
contact the Hennepin County Sheriff's department if you wanted to see the
report itself.
