A question for the forum - especially those who have served/worked or are serving/working on the council:
Since the proposed Redistricting map protects all incumbents, is it fair to assume that - even though the next election is three (!) years away - council members will begin representing their new districts? Is aldermanic courtesy in effect for the current territory, on the principle that they're the ones that elected you, or the new territory, on the principle that they'll be the ones re-electing you? I'm not looking for what should be, I'm looking for what will be. Honesty, as always, appreciated. David Brauer King Field - Ward 10 (Soon Ward 8 ... I think) _______________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A Civil City Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest option, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
