We should not have to look that hard. Performance reviews are part of our everyday jobs. Maybe next time we will give our chief a contract that lets him/her know that they are ordinary mortals just like the rest of us. They just happen to have chosen a profession where people carry guns and may shoot back at them, but that doesn't make them any more special in my eyes. The key word is "CHOSE." Ordinary mortals go off to the armed forces and fight wars. When they are dishonorably discharged do they get hugely compensated for royally screwing up? NOPE! If the Mayor and/or City Council members screw up, do they recieve compensation? NOPE, they are out on their butts. Do you see a pattern forming here? GOOD!!!
