After the cleanup of the buckthorn - then what? A friend told me she saw two loons on little Crystal Lake early this week. They seem to have been around - several of you have reported sightings. I hang mostly on the River and I haven't seen any loons there but lots of other beautiful birds. And these past three months have been quite the whirlwind for many of us. As we are beginning to settle in I want to say it is amazing to me the number of people involved in this city and its many activities. It's hard to keep track but some of you are putting in hundreds of hours - I see you everywhere. Even though we think we want more and more citizen participation it is truly amazing what we already have. Keep it up and keep it growing. We have some goals we are trying to achieve here - mostly about keeping Minneapolis a great place to live, work and play. Thank you for your hard work!
