MPIRG EARTH DAY ENVIRONMENTAL JUSTICE EVENT

Environmental justice is lifting the disproportionate burden of pollution
borne by low-income communities and communities of color.  In honor of Earth
Day 2002, MPIRG is holding a panel on environmental justice and what YOU can
do to help.

SPEAKERS: Annie Young (co-founder of the Green Institute, associate director
of Institute for Community and Environment, MPLS Park Commissioner), Fran
Guminga (co-founder of the Mississippi Corridor Neighborhood Coalition and
Bottineau Citizens in Action), Paula Maccabee (Sierra Club)
