Project 504 is assisting the widow of Abu Kasim Jeilani in setting up a
trust fund for the couple's two young children, Jibril and Adnan. Adnan
is a fiesty three, and Jibril is three months old today. I think a lot
of folks have seen the photo of Abu and his son Adnan together. For
those who don't know, police officers shot and killed Abu Jeilani near
the corner of Chicago and Franklin, and the circumstances of the
shooting are now under investigation.

If interested in contributing to the fund, send contributions to:

Adnan and Jibril Jeilani Fund
c/o Project 504
1113 E. Franklin Ave., Suite 207
Minneapolis MN 55404

We are in the process of getting the fund formalized, but we will
collect all funds now and hold them for deposit in the fund once it is
formally established, which we expect shortly. I am sending this item
out while the public's memory of Abu Jeilani is relatively fresh. If
you prefer to wait for the formal announcement of the fund, one will be
coming soon. Unless you tell us otherwise, we consider the names of all
contributors confidential and will not release the names to anyone but
the family.

My personal thanks to Farah Nur in our office for taking the initiative
to set this up.

Gregory Luce
