Steve Brandt's a lucky man to get such a great quote to end this piece.
My question, not about this story, nor necessarily to Steve (maybe Neil
St. Anthony?) is where and in what density are the white collar
criminals, and what is the cost to us, as a society, of white collar
crime? While down and dirty murder and blood and guts in the streets is
more spectacular, my sense is that white collar crime (like Enron) costs
much more dearly and that those costs include divorce, family
dissolution, suicide, and probably murder, definitely domestic abuse.
