Please respond to this one offlist: As some of you may know, our list server holds posts that are not in plain-text format (this is because fancy formats like HTML or MIME can more easily transmit viruses).
I'd like to offer members who regularly post in non-plain-text some info on how to switch. The two biggest "problem providers" are AOL and MSN. If anyone who uses either of those services has successfully send messages to the list in plain-text (you can usually tell because it's a single font and you can't change colors or sizes), please email me with instructions on how you did it. I can pass those along when people ask me for them. We may even set up an info page within e-democracy's site. We're working on an easier technical solution for everyone, but for now, this is my best shot. Thanks, David Brauer List manager Who is kinda tired of having to manually release several posts a day...but it's worth it to block one virus. _______________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A Civil City Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest option, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
