>From Snelling Avenue through about Dale, with a high concentration on 
east bound I-94 there are huge jelly fish all over the side of the 
highway.  Don't mistake these stinging creatures for white shopping 
bags and other debris blown and thrown there by the less considerate.

So what happens with the litter on our freeways through the core 
cities get so bad?  It seems such an embarrasment and sign of social 
decline for all to see.  You'd think the minute the snow was gone 
these avenues would be picked up based on their profile position.  

A few years ago I suggested that I-35 and I-94 should planted with 
wild flowers in the core cities.  These roads, with millions of 
passenger miles each year, should be ribbons of color which inspire 
individual and public acts of gardening throughout our cities.  Any 
takers on this idea? How about some legislation next year?
