City Pages has named the Hosmer Community Library as the "Best Library" and Minneapolis Central Library as the "Best Place to Practice Piano in Public" in their 2002 Best of the Twin Cities (BOTC) issue.
Minneapolis Public Library was previously honored by City Pages in 1998 as the "Best Use of City Tax Dollars", in 1999 as the "Best Library", and in 2000 was the "Readers' Poll Winner" for the "Best Library".
