Along these lines, is there a database anywhere where you can enter a Minneapolis address and it will return two things: a map and, more signficantly, the neighborhood of that address? The map part is easy, but are there any geeky sites out there offering the neighborhood siting feature? It would be helpful to folks trying to figure out what neighborhood they are in--you'd be surprised how many folks don't even know, from all ranges of life and income levels. Plus, there are folks like me who scratch their head and say "is this Wenonah or Morris Park" or, as I've learned, "is this Old Highland or Hawthorne" (or, worse yet, "when did Old Highland become Hawthorne?"
