We have a duck couple that has been living on my block for a few weeks now. At first, they were living in the plugged sewer at the top of the block. Then, they moved down to the plugged sewer across the street from my house. Now, they have discovered the pond in my back yard. I think it's really cool.
I just have a few questions I hope someone can help me with. Will the ducks stay now because they have discovered my pond? I haven't seen eggs anywhere but is it possible they layed eggs in my yard somewhere and are waiting for them to hatch? If they have babies, will the whole family stay in my yard now? Could someone out there that has more experience with ducks inform me?
