Much of the problem in the GLBT ranks of the DFL stems from the Stonewall DFL. One Stonewall DFL member, who asked to remain anonymous, stated that the organization has gone completely "out of control." Several Stonewall DFL board members have left in disgust in the past few years, apparently putting the group in the hands of people who believe that their way is the only way. Tolerating no dissent from their party line, they attack community members whose views do not conform to theirs. Keith says; Gee, this modis operendi, both venal and autocratic, sounds just like that of the last DFL Regime that was ruling and ruining our fair City (adding bond debt obligations and destroying our affordable housing stock, etc.). I thought it was our Mean City Mothers who were so hurtful and callous. Now I learn from posts by Mr. Bonham and Mr. Melendez that the Stonewall DFL leaders are also, for the most part the MPLS. DFL leaders. Thanks for the insight, I will not be able, from hence forward, to ignore the (Gay) men behind the curtain. As in "OZ", they were in control, and promoted the skirts fronting so many detrimental City policies. To avoid any Gay angst as any Gay issue gets 40-60 responses on this List. I wish to announce that I am Gay and willing to swap "companionship" for good, honest City policy. How long must I continue to be lonely?
