Have you bothered to call Wells' Government Relations
office, located right here in Minneapolis, Dave? Had
you spent a few minutes doing that, you would have 
learned that the company does not make donations to
politicians even at the Federal level. That's what 
they have a PAC for, which is voluntarily funded by
salaried employees and contributes *only* to Federal
candidates, probably because the state campaign finance
laws are arcane, laden with nasty penalties for violators,
and (my opinion) heavily biased against companies as 
opposed to labor unions and non-profits.

Then again, I guess in some quarters it would be considered
poor form to bother finding out the truth before you accuse
people of bribery.
