1030 Morgan Avenue North

It was put to death because of crime. CM Jackie Cherryhomes wanted it gone
because of crime in her ward. She couldn't solve the most basic safety
issues in her ward. So she had a classic condo-able structure condemned.

There are two bookends to Minneapolis' shameless destruction of affordable
housing.

One is the front end loader crashing through the wall of a duplex on Golden
Valley Road.
They (police and public works) nearly destroyed a building in two seconds to
bust a couple of crack dealers.

The other book end will be 1030 Morgan Ave North. What transpired in that
decade will be a blemish on our Mill City forever.
