About left
turns, lots of people just get their cars out there mid-intersection and
sit there (asleep?) until traffic quits for red light and then they
go, and with lots of chances to just make the turn. In fact it is very
easy to pass those types, as car behind just make the left turn, usually
they get mad and honk or flip the bird, but a person is down the street by
then.
Also,
maddening, is- in busy traffic -whether in town or freeway, few drivers
will let a person take the lane in front of them even though you signal for a
mile. Usually I got to make the turn to go to my house, I signal for
four blocks, but the cars keep passing me on the right, (legal?) I got stopped
by a cop once -24th & Lyndale S- as I threw my car in a
space in front of police car, so I could make the turn, she stopped me, was
huffy but no ticket. I think she -the cop- was legally required
to let me take the lane, as was all of the cars.
Because of all
of that, I totally avoid road rage when people turn into lane in front of
me.
