Keith says; Thank you, Karen Collier, for your friendly off-line answer to my
question about Natalie's access to the Council Covin:
Karen Collier: "You are so way out of line on this you're in left field.
Natalie sued the City over redistricting. The City Atty represents the City.
The City Atty has asked to speak with his clients. Natalie is NOT one of
his clients in this matter because she's the one who sued. Now who's the
pig?" (Karen Collier)

This is to clarify that a discussion of the lawsuit relating to
redistricting entitled Natalie Johnson Lee, et al. vs. City of Minneapolis
will be held this Friday, July 12, in Room 315 City Hall at the conclusion
of the regular City Council meeting. The Open Meeting Law allows for a
meeting to be closed to discuss attorney-client communications. If the City
Attorney states that there is just cause to close the meeting, a motion may
be made to close it. Since this is a lawsuit, I presume that this meeting
will be held in closed session to inform the Council Members of the status
of the lawsuit.

Keith says; Strange irony that the Council may close the meeting to discuss
the Redistricting Lawsuit.
The Lawsuit was initiated by Natalie Johnson Lee, et al. Her being in the
Council should allow her to attend this closed meeting. Any body speak pig
Latin?
