At 2:15 p.m., local candidates for Minnesota Senate, House of Representatives, and the 5th Congressional seat will introduce themselves to the press. The 5th District candidates will be preceded by a 1:15 p.m. press conference with other Minnesota Greens in which Ken Pentel, Green-endorsed candidate for Governor, will announce his choice of running mate. The Green Party of Minnesota is based on the Four Pillars of the international Green movement: grassroots democracy, non-violence, social & economic justice and ecological wisdom.
