I am curious if someone could please confirm or refute something I heard a few years ago? The report was that Monticello nuclear power rad waste was being transported thru Mpls on the way to storage at Prairie Island. Transportation was by train and entered Mpls on the tracks along Bassett Creek - traveled next to Willard-Homewood, then between Harrison and Bryn Mawr, proceeded thru the Warehouse District, across Nicollet Island, and on to towards Red Wing. Was this true a few years ago, and if true, is it still occurring?
