According to the MPS web site, as recently as a few hours ago, Wedl is
executive director of Special Services, not Special Education Services. Is
Special Services
what you call the policy and planning dept, or is the staff directory more
than 1 and
1/2 years out of date? As I recall, Wedl was originally hired as the head of
Special
Education Services, which, no doubt equipped him to play some role in drafting
the proposed CFL rules in question. If Wedl retired 30 June 2002, that is,
just 16 days ago, he also had the opportunity to play a role in drafting
those proposed rules. That would have been consistent with his job
description, no es verdad?
