Avidor: I thought it was City policy to increase the number of bike lanes. Mead: It should be noted that, because these sidewalks are not in a commercial area, it's legal for bicyclists to use these sidewalks. Common sense suggests that all bicyclists take extra precautions in this area to avoid any conflicts with pedestrians. Avidor: Will the sidewalks/bike lanes be cleared of snow as frequently as the roadway? How will the "towers" effect snow removal?
