I think West Broadway Ave North is the ideal candidate for Modern Urbanist
Implementations. The type of design and infrastructure most often promoted by
the Met Council under your leadership probably would fit well on this Avenue
of Potential.
High density/mixed use developments: We have the land.
Adjacent natural amenities: Bounded by Wirth Parkway and the Big Muddy.
Commuter infrastructure: We are part of Hwy. 81: We will become the
NorthSide's
Uptown. A destination.
Ease of implementation: The DFL Demolition Juggernaut made it easy. OOPS.
(Must pry fingers off keys so as not to allude to recent history)
This project has Teddy written all over it? Come over to West Broadway, bring
your wonks, I want to help you create the modern urbanist success as we
reconnect with adjacent suburbs, DT, and all over. This Avenue, with your
strategy, could be the Avenue with Everything. Be a mencsh: Do what no one
else has done. Make our Avenue a showplace of your creativity. I, for one,
welcome you.
