Can Minneapolis taxpayers file class action lawsuits against real estate developers who lied to the City Council to obtain public funding?
Can we sue appraisers who inflated real estate values to enable developers to obtain excessive financing? Can we file against developers who create several "related" companies to divert project money into, and then claim that the project cannot pay its bills? Do the taxpayers (the harmed party) have standing to file such lawsuits? I've got quite a bit of evidence that should see the light of day - in a public courtroom. The goal is to recover money for the City. Please advise.
