In the article R.T. stated that the people were brave, that they didn't run. He talked about how they could be doing something else but they were there. Excuse my ignorance but I fail to see the greatness and/or brilliance in this observation? How often do neighborhood folks hear this sentiment? Where else would they be? They live there. Haven't you Jordan residents always had spirit? And saying things are evident that they will improve, wonderful, but when? Hurrah for the policemen on bicycles, and I am not knocking R.T., but otherwise talk is dirt cheap.
I am staying tuned for the follow-up. Those leaders -- including Mayor R.T. Rybak, Police Chief Robert Olson, City Attorney Jay Heffern and City Council Members Natalie Johnson Lee and Joe Biernat -- also got an earful about why some people want to leave. http://www.startribune.com/stories/462/3133437.html Shawn Lewis, Field Neighborhood -- __________________________________________________________ Sign-up for your own FREE Personalized E-mail at Mail.com http://www.mail.com/?sr=signup Get 4 DVDs for $.49 cents! plus shipping & processing.
