Hi All!

A fellow lister has ruined a perfectly nice day for me.

I had never THOUGHT of the potential impact of a thuggish invasion of Iraq
could have on the Mpls Oil Supply.

Went out to the garage and tuned up the old bi-cycle. Didn't need much oil,
but DID use a bit of straight 30 on the gears and chains -- hope that was
the proper grade.

Topped off all the cans and tanks at SA. They are still honoring those
cards worth $12 of gas PLUS a FOUNTAIN DRINK!

I was lucky enough to only pay $1.34.9 (what is it with that "point nine?")
per gallon.

Feeling better, I got back to my coal-fired computer and see that the oil
futures market is quiet. Shoot! Don't these oil brokers know what posters
to the Mpls Forum know?

Be afraid. Be very afraid. Some of us are already cowering in the
basement.

Cheers!

PK

PS. How come my little pile of gold, purchased in the late '70s, hasn't
appreciated? Am still waiting to buy a loaf of bread with it. The day is
forever coming "soon" if one believes idiots.
