Just a quick note about King Field's Farmers Market (on Nicollet Avenue between 42nd and 43rd streets).
There is always an abundance of vegetables, organic eggs, locally-made soaps, breads and other wonderful things. I am also passing on info from Jim of Dancing Oaks Farms for the omnivores amoung us. Jim raises grass-fed beef on a farm close to town, and so is another one of those terrific farmers in our own bio-region using sustainable practice and delivering a truly premium agricultural product. Looks like Dancing Oaks Farm will be at the KF Farmer's Market tomorrow....so if you are an omnivore and live anywhere nearby, you'll be glad of a visit! Even if you are not an omnivore.....there are plenty of other great foods and other good stuff! Hooray for the neighborhood farmer's markets of Minneapolis! -Gary Hoover King Field Hi folks, Just a quick note to friends and customers. Dancing Oak Farm will be at the Kingfield Market this Sunday Morning to bring grass-fed, well-aged beef direct from our farm to your table. Regular 25 pound boxes will be available as well as several miscellaneous cuts that we will sell by the pound. These include a couple of porterhouse steaks and ribeye steaks, several large sirloin tip roasts (excellent in the crock pot with the new potatoes and onions), several other roasts. We will also be selling round steak at a special price $2.50 per pound and we have quite a few pieces. And as always we have excellent maple syrup to sweeten your mornings and drizle on your ice cream! Hope to see you there, Jim Hare _______________________________________ Minneapolis Issues Forum - A Civil City Civic Discussion - Mn E-Democracy Post messages to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subscribe, Unsubscribe, Digest option, and more: http://e-democracy.org/mpls
