I also applaud Mayor Rybak's veto of the park
board's action. His reasoning is excellent. If the park board over-rides
the veto, I hope that voter's will
truly remember it at election time.
Several former members of our city council
counted on us to have short memories. And we did, time and time
again. We finally wised up and put new people into office who promised
to listen to and work with us.
I hope this lesson is not lost on the park
board. Or us.
