Shawn Lewis, a frequent poster to this list, inquired by a letter to the editor of the Strib today as to what happened with the results of the Civilian Review Authority redesign. A fair question. This is simply to pass along to the list that a City Council Committee of the Whole meeting has been scheduled for Thursday, August 29, 2002, at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber, Room 317 City Hall, for consideration of the report on this from the Civilian Review Authority Action Grouup. Further details should be forthcoming before the meeting but it is clear we will have a long way to go on much that is to be done.
