Not much response to either the list manager's post on the City Pages interview with Carol Johnson nor Ann Berget's comment about the lives of kids near the Jordan melee.
I commend the City Pages package (including the on-line-only transcript) to anyone who wants to get a sense of issues facing Minneapolis schools and our good fortune in having as superintendent a person who looks far beyond sound bites. Britt Robson posed tough questions and Johnson answered well. Ms. Berget's comments argue for another visit to the fanciful idea of a political party for children. What would such a party be demanding in the name of those kids in harm's way?
