Vicky Heller replies: As far as ability is concerned, most people have more than enough to accomplish whatever they want to. It's their own choices (or the choices of their parents in the case of children) that debilitate them. As far as sexual orientation is concerned, well-mannered people don't consider it a subject for public discourse. As far as race is concerned, you and I could name thousands and thousands of people who have achieved incredible levels of success in every area of life. They overcame much greater obstacles than any of us have ever suffered. As far as gender is concerned, if you're implying that women are disadvantaged, think again. We are the majority in this country, and we control the lion's share of the money that circulates every day. In other words, if you think you are a victim, you are correct. Or as Eleanor Roosevelt put it "No one can hurt you without your permission."
